Michael Dowd, author the the new book, “Thank God For Evolution!: How The Marriage of Science and Religion Will Transform Your Life and Our World”, was featured at North America’s first Evolutionary Revival on 15 February 2008 at First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Diego. Cosmos Holds Nation’s 1st Evolutionary Revival

Join with Cosmos as one of North America’s greatest integrators of science and religion, the Reverend Michael Dowd, leads a celebratory, enlightening exploration of the stupendous blessing of being the universe in the form of the human, the cosmos in conscious self-awareness. The evolutionary revival is a participatory celebration to help us all tap into the deep well of joy, compassion and commitment inside us so we may live a life of evolutionary integrity, in harmony with the deep underlying patterns of evolution in earth and in the universe. Thank God For Evolution!, the week

 

The Reverend Michael Dowd and his wife, scientist Connie Barlow, will be in San Diego from the 15th through the 23rd of February and will be presenting at a number of Unitarian Universalist Churches. At First UU Church of San Diego the events are the Evolutionary Revival on the 15th as described above, preaching on Sunday at the 9:30 and the 11:30 services, and conducting a workshop from 10-4 on the 23rd. If you want to attend this the cost is $5, or $10 if you want lunch. The cost is just to cover some of our expenses putting it on. We need to know how many people will be there and especially how many will want lunch.
